Nokia isn’t readying only high-end Lumia smartphones for launch in the coming months, but is also considering the release of affordable devices in its Windows Phone 8 lineup.

Apparently, one of the upcoming smartphones from the company would sport the codename of Nokia Max, while being set to hit shelves in the cheap Lumia 600 series.

Even so, the device is said to feature a large touchscreen display, being the largest affordable smartphone from Nokia, at 4.7 inches, at least this is what a post on MyNokiaBlog reads.

However, the hardware specifications of the device are in line with Nokia’s entry-level series, starting with the 800 x 480 pixels resolution delivered by its SuperSensitive LCD screen.

The smartphone is also said to pack a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor inside, along with 512MB of RAM, and a 2000mAh battery. The device will also sport a unibody design, as well as LTE connectivity.
