Owners of a 3G-enabled Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet PC in Germany should see a new software update arriving on their devices these days, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a recent post on SammyHub, Samsung started to deliver the new firmware release to its users so as to improve the stability of the device.

Furthermore, the update, available for download as version N5100XXBMF1, is said to bring along transparent notifications bar, together with some other enhancements as well.

However, users will still see Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean running on their devices even after the update, it seems.

The new software weighs 174MB, and should be available for download for all Galaxy Note 8.0 devices both over-the-air and via the Samsung Kies desktop application. Users in other countries might receive it soon as well.
