At MWC 2015, Huawei took wearable enthusiasts by surprise when it rolled out its first smartwatch product, which we have to admit looks extremely gorgeous.

Even if the company continues to be mum about availability dates and exact pricing, Huawei has shared today a list of 12 reasons why customers should consider purchasing their first intelligent timepiece.

The manufacturer praises the device’s 1.4-inch AMOLED display with 400 x 400 resolution, saying that no smartwatch to date has managed to offer 286 ppi pixel density. The device is kept alive by a 300 mAh battery which, unlike similar products, can sustain two full days of usage on a single charge.

The list also puts a big emphasis on design, and granted, design is the biggest selling point of the watch. Huawei also says its product is the first to come equipped with a sapphire crystal display glass.

Other positive aspects include the cold-forged stainless steel build and the wide array of customization options (including 18mm straps).

The Watch sounds incredibly good on paper and its gorgeous frame will certainly catch the eye of wearable enthusiasts. Sadly, the rumor mill claims that Huawei’s device will be quite expensive. If this aspect ends up putting a damper on sales or not, it remains to be seen.
