Simplistic but nice interface with everything at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but the layout is really intuitive with a side menu even if it doesn't have material design. However, there's a help section in the menu filled with all sort of tips that you could find useful.
The app measures the WiFi signal strength and displays it in a full screen signal meter or else in the customizable high resolution graphic widgets. A channel screens helps to evaluate interference from neighboring channels.
The WiFi signal varies in orders of 1000s which is difficult to appreciate and hence it uses the unit called dBm which presents the data in a nice logarithmic manner. The readings are calibrated from -95 to -35 dBm.
Check your signal strength
It displays the measurement on the home screen and in the widgets. The app comes with lots of widgets and lets you customize them in whichever manner you wish.
You can pick from minimal and scheme widgets. There's even the option to adjust measurement units, add a translucent border, change the widget font size or enable the auto-update feature. The data is refreshed upon tapping or on network connectivity change.
The side menu gives you access to all sort of features, including WiFi details. The app displays signal strength, frequency, channel, access point, linkspeed and router. Other data includes IP or MAC address, gateway, DHCP server and more.
More features
The app also shows you other available WiFi networks that might interfere with the one that you're connected to. It also shows devices connected to the same network, that might affect the WiFi strength.
Data displayed in the app can be shared online or you can attach it to an email if you wish. The app is free but it also comes with a paid version which costs 2.49$. The pro version doesn't have any ads and uses lesser memory. It also comes with additional widget color schemes and it automatically updates the signal meter and channel screens.
