Weather for the World 2.2.5
But not all of them do. One of such apps is Weather for the World. It's quite a straight-forward app, but when it comes to weather, forecast accuracy is much more important than design or nice icons.
Sleek and intuitive interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since new users could find tips quite beneficial, especially when launching a new application.
Weather for the World sports a really intuitive UI, with a toolbar at the bottom of the screen and the option to switch through categories with the tap of one finger.
The app doesn't come with material design, but it does have a side menu that provides users with access to some settings that they can adjust inside the app. It doesn't need users to complete a setup, but you do need to enable your location services, so the app can find you.
Check the weather in your location
The app displays the forecast for the next ten days, it shows the temperature in the morning and the afternoon. But it doesn't show users the current temperature, it doesn't have an icon in the status bar.
You can change the unit of measurement and the language displayed inside the app. It displays the wind speed, the chance of rain, reliability and sunshine. It shows you the real feel in your location, together with the option to check wind pressure and chances of snow.
More features
It shows precipitation on a radar and users can adjust units of measurement for speed. Users can search for all sort of cities using the search bar at the top of the screen. You can add locations to your favorites menu and check them out easily.
All in all, the app is nice but it could use some more tools to make it more appealing to users. It doesn't have animation or home screen widgets, which is quite inconvenient considering that many weather apps are filled with various nice tools to make them stand out. It could also use the option to share information from inside the app with other users on social networks.
