Video Editor by Live Oak Video 1.0
Video Editor by Live Oak Video is one of them although it doesn't have a nice UI and it could use some general settings for the app's interface and functions.
Dated UI that could use an upgrade
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since it could have used some tips for new users. Still, you shouldn't have any trouble using this app as access to all of its sections is done using the shortcuts on the home screen.
It doesn't use material design and the app doesn't have a side menu with settings, which is quite inconvenient. The interface seems a bit dated, with an old looking wallpaper in the back and the icons could use an upgrade. Still, the layout is okay and intuitive, but it doesn't add up to the app's style.
Edit your videos easily
The app doesn't let users pick one video and then make all sort of changes to it. Instead you'll have to pick the category of tools and then find the video to edit. It lets you search through all sort of directories on your phone, meaning that it doesn't automatically find videos on your device.
Trimming videos is quite easy, simply pick the start and end time. It lets you watch previews of your videos so that you would know where to trim. The app also lets you merge videos together, simply pick two of them from your device and then wait for the app to convert them. Unfortunately, it will take some time to do so, a few minutes at best depending on the size of your videos.
More features and tools
The app also lets you split, rotate or resize videos if you wish. In addition, you can crop videos to whichever size you wish or blur them if you like but it does take a lot of time to do so.
The app doesn't let you adjust the blur level, so the finished video might not be that different compared to the original one. There's also the option to extract audio from videos and create separate files from that. You can find all of your edited videos in a separate section isnide the app.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is functional with an intuitive layout, but it could use an upgrade and a nicer wallpaper. |
Function7
All of its features work, but the app takes a while to convert videos and it would need some more features. |
Security9
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues as it only needs access to a few areas of your phone. |
Battery6
As expected, consumption is quite high so keep an eye on resources when using this app especially if you're converting videos. |
Price8
It doesn't come with any in-app purchases, but the app does have banner and popup ads which can't be removed. |
Compatibility7
It should work on devices running Android version 4.0.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's a nice app but it needs some improvements.
