Upshot - Unique Video Editor 1.10
It helps users record all sort of videos and make changes to them, by applying filters, text and other neat items. However, it could use a nicer UI with more tools at hand and changes that you could do to the app's functions.
Sleek UI with some features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that users always find tips beneficial, especially when launching a new app.
Still, it sports a rather intuitive UI but it could use a main menu with access to some sections. The app doesn't have a home screen, so don't expect it to have material design either.
It lacks a side menu, so users might get a bit confused and lost when using this application. Still, you'll find all sort of nice tools inside, if you have the patience with it.
Record all sort of videos
The app launches directly with the video recording screen, providing users with the option to switch between cameras with the tap of one finger. You can enable flash and simply tap on the screen to zoom and focus the image.
Full screen can be enabled easily, you can record videos by simply tapping on an icon on the home screen. The app lets you pick videos from the media library and edit them easily using this application. It even displays the duration and a preview, but it won't show you the name of the file.
Edit your videos easily
The app lets you pick from multiple filters that you can apply on your videos. It comes with a list of 7 available filters, but you'll have to be a bit patient until it actually applies them. You can also crop videos and remove sections of them.
There's the option to write text on your videos and change the font. Text size can also be changed using gestures. It opens your media gallery so you can add songs in the background or record voice.
When you're done editing, simply save the video on your phone and share it with friends. It's quite annoying that each time you launch a section inside the app, your video starts again, even though you didn't make any changes to it.
