Fortunately, Steam also has an Android app that lets you do all that while on the go. You can browse through offers, create wishlists and chat with friends on the latest releases. However, the app has it's fair share of bugs.
Sleek interface with lots of features at hand
Steam doesn't need a presentation, so developers didn't bother with providing users with a tutorial. The UI is very similar to that of the desktop version, it has that dark design and it doesn't fail to provide users with most of the features that they may find in the other version as well.
Since it's filled with all sort of information, it does take a while to load sections, so you'd have to be a bit patient. A side menu gives you access to all features inside the app. A settings menu provides users with some account changes that they can do. In addition, you can adjust notifications and pick a sound or enable vibration.
Manage your Steam account
The app gives you access to all of your Steam features, including the library, your inventory, groups and the store. It displays how much time you've spent playing a certain game and it lets you browse the catalog to find new releases. It gives you detailed information about games, but it no longer shows you trailers or display reviews from other users.
This is quite inconvenient since reviews could really make the difference between buying a product or not. Still, the app lets you create a wishlist with products that you might want to purchase later.
Some more features
It even lets you connect to groups and chat with friends, but you'll need to tweak some settings first. Enable notifications from the settings menu, but that won't guarantee that the app would actually work in the background and notify you of received messages.
This is quite inconvenient, since users should be able to browse their library while chatting with friends. However, you do have access to your friends activity if you wish and the app has a neat security feature.
The Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator makes sure that you are protected and that your account isn't hacked. Other than that, the app comes with a news section that has lots of subcategories, but it would have been nice if they came with icons rather than just text in a list.
