Speed BOOSTER Memory Cleaner 11.3

People like to do all sort of things on their phones, especially to download and install them on their phones. Unfortunately, the more apps you install on your device the slower your phone runs, because some of them run in the background.

However, Google Play Store is filled with all sort of apps that help you clean your memory. One of such applications is Speed BOOSTER Memory Cleaner. It's a nice cleaner but don't expect complex features from it.

Intuitive but simplistic interface

The app doesn't launch with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that new users would always find some guidance beneficial. Still, you shouldn't have any trouble with it, the app only has a few features and some changes that you can adjust in the settings menu.

The app doesn't use material design, which is quite inconvenient considering that it's a layout that many users are accustomed to. The app doesn't really use animation, which is quite a shame as many similar applications do.

Boost your phone, or at least try

The home screen has a simplistic design, it displays the amount of used RAM in the top left corner of the screen and the CPU in the right. There's a large icon on the middle of the screen, tap on it to boost your phone.

But it doesn't actually show you which apps it kills or what processes it closes so there's no way to tell if the app actually works. There's a bar at the bottom of the screen for accessing the task manager. However, it doesn't display applications running in the background, which means that the feature doesn't really work.

Issues and flaws

The app doesn't have the option to create a whitelist and decide which apps won't be closed, but since the task manager doesn't actually show you apps that are running in the background, you shouldn't worry about that.

It comes with an autoboost feature that boosts your phone when RAM usage is high or when the device is idle. You can also set it to boost every 12 hours but it won't display notifications to show you if it actually works.

You can have the app suggest boosting based on custom usage, but again it should have some message that shows users how it's done. It has an icon on the home screen for boosting, but don't expect it to do much.
