Fortunately, Google Play Store comes with lots of applications that let you do just that. One of them is Ringtone Maker Pro. It's a neat app that helps create ringtones from audio files on your phone or you can record whichever sound you wish from within the app.
Intuitive interface with everything you need at hand
Ringtone Maker Pro doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but you wouldn't really need them since the UI is quite intuitive and easy-to-use.
It doesn't have material design and it lacks a side menu for accessing sections easier. In fact, the app doesn't have any settings that you can make to the UI and its functions.
The interface is quite nice, it has beautiful colors and gives you instant access to features and tools. A search bar at the top of the screen lets you find all sort of files on your phone and you can navigate through sections by swiping the screen left or right.
Create ringtones easily
The app displays all of your audio files on the home screen and lets you set any of them as your default ringtone, notification sound or alarm. You can also pick a contact and assign a different ringtone to it.
The app lets you trim tracks to whichever size, pick the start and end time. You can also check out previews of created ringtones, before you save them to your device.
Pitch the screen to zoom in and make it easier to create ringtones. The app also lets you record audio and turn them into ringtones, but it seems that the feature doesn't work on all devices.
More tools
When you're done editing, simply save the ringtone to your device and pick a specific name for it. The app lets you access all sort of files on your device or SD card. It supports the following formats MP3, WAV, AAC/M4A, AMR files.
You can find edited ringtones in the history section and check out downloaded files. It also comes with the option of copying files and moving them to another location.
Ringtone Maker Pro lets you email ringtones or share them online. All audio files displayed on your home screen are arranged alphabetically and the app even displays their duration. You can also have the sound fade or adjust file volume.
