Radio Alarm Clock - PocketBell 2.1
They also help users wake up rested and ready to start their day. One of such apps is Radio Alarm Clock – PocketBell. It lets you customize alarms and pick from the many options available inside the app.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that people could use some tips when checking out a new app. It has material design, but it lacks a side menu with access to all sort of features.
Still, an overview icon on the top of the screen gives you access to general settings that you can change inside the app. It doesn't have a stylish UI, it's rather clean and with quick access to all of its features. It displays the time and date on the home screen, together with created alarms on the bottom.
Create alarms easily
With a simple tap, users can create all sort of alarms on their screen. The nice thing about this app is that it you can create as many alarms as you wish and simply activate them before going to bed.
You can repeat alarms during certain days of the week and adjust the time. It has a nice counter that can be turned into a stopwatch if you need. It lets you name alarms, enable vibration and adjust the strength. You can also enable a progressive alarm, adjust the snooze time and alarm duration. It has a preview section that lets you test alarms.
More features
You can add ringtones from you device as alarm sounds or pick from tracks on your device. It also opens a gallery with various online radio stations that you can pick from. Favorite the ones that you like the most and set them as alarm sounds.
Unfortunately, the app doesn't let users test stations before setting them as your alarm sound so that the app would actually play something. It lets you adjust default settings so that you could create alarms faster. There are also some motion controls that you can use, like the option to turn off alarms by flipping your phone, shaking or lifting it.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is a bit boring and it doesn't use animation or any other ways in which it could make the UI more appealing to users. |
Function5
It needs previews for radio stations and the option to change the location, because only the United States are available. |
Security8
It needs access to some areas of your phone, but they're connected to its features so you don't need to worry. |
Battery6
Consumption seems to be a bit high, so keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price8
It doesn't come with ads, but you can unlock features if you upgrade to the premium version for 1.49$. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later. |
It's a nice app, but you'll need to test alarms before enabling them.
