One of such applications is Power Media Player. It's a nice media player that makes it easy to watch movies, view photos, and listen to music with the confidence that your entertainment is being delivered in the best possible quality.
Simplistic UI that could use an upgrade
The app's interface is quite rudimentary, with an ugly background picture and access to sections in the form of icons on the home screen. Fortunately, the app has a settings menu but there are no customization features. It doesn't come with a tutorial which is quite inconvenient.
However, the advantage is that the app's size is lower so it doesn't take up that much space on your phone. You can use the app for watching movies, listening to songs or creating slideshows with your pictures.
Watch movies and listen to songs
Each section of the app opens with some tips, showing new users how to access all tools. The app automatically opens your music folder and lets you pick the songs that you would like to listen to. A toolbar on the bottom of the page provides users with the option to search through playlists, artists, albums or songs.
It also comes with effects that you can add to your audio files, but it lacks an actual equalizer. Controls are available in the lock screen, but the app only has basic tools for the audio player. The video player lets users lock the screen so that you wouldn't accidentally tap on it and pause your movie.
More features
Pictures are displayed in folders, users have the option to browse through all directories on their phones. They can also be arranged based on the date in which they were taken. You have the option of adding them to a slideshow or making some editing changes.
You can adjust brightness, lighting, contrast or balance. When you're done save the photo and then share it on social networks. The app plays all the common video and audio formats, while users don't need to convert any of their files.
In addition, you can create nice playlists with your songs or adjust settings for video playback. All in all, the app has a little bit of everything and it can be used for all media files on your phone. However, it needs some improvements and a nicer UI.
