PicBlend - Photo Blender 1.1
One of the photo editors that can help you with just that is PicBlend - Photo Blender. It claims to be a photo blender, but in reality it's just a photo editor app that lets you apply overlays on images and adjust the transparency. It would have been nice if the app let users blend two or more pictures together.
Easy-to-use UI with some tools
The app doesn't come with a tutorial, although it would have been nice if the app provided new users with some guidance on how to access its features. It doesn't use material design or a side menu with quick access to settings and sections.
The home screen is really nice, it has a beautiful wallpaper and a toolbar with access to its main sections. You can access the camera and snap pictures or check out the gallery with pictures. It has a separate section with all the images that you've edited, but you can't pick a separate destination folder on your device.
Edit your pictures easily
You can snap pictures or load them from your gallery, you can rotate them but can't crop images to other sizes. There's the option to add all sort of overlays in the form of circles or geometrical shapes.
They also come in multiple colors and you can adjust the transparency of overlays. Users can add filters with lots of stars or some that have water effects. There's also a category of overlays with textures that come in lots of shapes and colors.
Add text and edit pictures in various ways
It comes with overlays that represent cities, nature or animals. There are also stickers that you can add on your pictures and you have the option to add text. It comes with predefined text in various colors, simply add it to your pictures and adjust its size using gestures.
When you're done editing simply save the picture and share it with friends. The app doesn't really let you blend pictures, it only allows users to apply overlays and adjust their transparency. It would have been nice if there's was the option to import pictures from the gallery and add them as overlays, but it doesn't have such a tool.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is really nice with a beautiful wallpaper in the background, but it needs a nicer layout. |
Function7
It doesn't actually blend pictures together, you can only apply overlays and adjust the transparency. |
Security9
It doesn't need many permissions from your phone, so it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery7
Consumption is moderate, but you still have to keep an eye on resources when using this app as extended use may drain your battery. |
Price7
It comes with some really annoying banner and popup ads, but there's no option of removing them with an upgrade. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It doesn't really do what you expect, but it does have some really nice features.
