Photo Noise Reducer 1.0.1.7
However, don't get carried away with it as some people might notice that your pictures were retouched, especially if you haven't used professional tools. Photo Noise Reducer lets you reduce noise on your images and make them look smoother.
Sleek UI with some tools
The app doesn't launch with a tutorial, although it' always nice to come across developers who take the time to provide users with some tips. Instructions are really helpful, especially when you're launching a new application and you don't yet know what it does.
Still, it sports a really intuitive UI that lacks material design but compensates with a side menu providing quick access to all sort of sections. The home screen has a really beautiful wallpaper in the back but users can't change it or make any adjustments to the app's functions.
Remove noise from your images
The home screen has thumbnails that allows users to access their camera and snap pictures to import inside the app. You can also access the gallery, it comes with an image viewer that lets you browse through all pictures saved on your device and pick the ones that you would like to edit.
It has a bar at the bottom of the screen, use it to adjust the level of smoothness that you want to apply on your pictures. There are three icons with light, medium and custom adjustments that you can make.
Some more tools but not many
The app takes a while to apply changes on your pictures and make them smoother, so you'll have to be patient with that. It also lets you see the original image and check out the changes that you've made on pictures.
It doesn't allow users to pick the destination folder for saved images, but you can choose from the option of overwriting the original image or keeping it on your phone. The settings menu only has the feature to enable the confirmation dialog when saving pictures.
Unfortunately, it doesn't come with any more options which is quite inconvenient since some photo editors already come with a noise remover. It seems that the app would have been more suitable as a section inside a photo editor rather than a stand-alone app.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
It has a really nice interface with a side menu and an intuitive layout that provides users with quick access to its features. |
Function7
It works just fine but the app really needs some more tools and features, as it could compete against similar apps. |
Security7
It needs permissions to quite a few areas of your phone, but some of them aren't connected to its features. |
Battery2
Consumption is quite high, keep an eye on resources when using this app as it may drain your battery. |
Price10
It doesn't come with any ads or in-app purchases which is quite nice. |
Compatibility8
The app should work on devices running Android version 3.0 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It needs more tools, as it resembles an app section rather than a standalone editor.
