ourUSB 2.2
Clean interface but with some flaws
ourUSB doesn't launch with a tutorial or any kind of instructions which is quite inconvenient considering that the app has many features and new users could benefit from some guidance when navigating inside the app.
The first thing that you need to do is to register with an account. You can use your email address or Facebook profile to register, but the app insists on the latter, so that you could import friends also.
After registration you can start using the app. The interface isn't spectacular, the app uses a rather clean UI with a side menu on the left, giving users access to all sort of sections. OurUSB supports Android Lollipop, but it isn't optimized so it takes a while to load features.
Store all sort of files
The app provides you with 10 GB of storage space to save all your important documents, music and pictures. Only you will have access to the files and if you wish, you can share them with friends on the network.
Adding friends is quite easy, simply type in their names and add contacts. However, the app takes quite a while to load and scrolling down through the list of uses takes a lot of time.
All messages are stored in a separate section, you can check out messages from your contacts and those inside the group. Users can create groups of friends and communicate easily.
Some issues
ourUSB can be used to transfer files to various contacts, but the app has a real problem with loading sections and it even crashes at times. It's a slow app, especially if your phone is running on the latest Android version.
Because of this, it's quite annoying to wait for messages to load or files to transfer. Therefore, if you're looking for an efficient social networking app, ourUSB might not be it. It doesn't even have a settings menu, so you won't be able to make any changes to the UI.
It doesn't even come with enhanced security features and other users can see your profile information and contacts list. OurUSB claims to be a better app for groups compared to Facebook, but it still has a long way to go before it can compete with the most popular social network in the world.
