Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that new users could benefit from a few tips to show them where they could access tools.
Still, the app sports a really intuitive UI with all features at hand and the fact that it doesn't have a tutorial, means that the app's size is reduced. You don't need to sign in to Facebook in order to use the app but you won't be able to share videos on other networks.
Create nice videos on your phone
The app launches directly in the camera mode. It doesn't provide users with many options, you can only enable the flash or switch cameras on your phone. There's the option to access the gallery and pick a picture of your liking. Next, you'll be able to add some effects to your photo.
The first thing that you'll need to do is pick a mood, you can choose from happy, sad, hyper, love, funny and scary. Each of these sections comes with three video overlays that you can check out, but we should probably warn you that the scary overlays are really frightening.
More options
The videos have sound and users are able to add a title to them. They come in multiple styles, which is quite nice and you can preview them before sharing on Messenger.
You also have the option of saving videos to your gallery and sharing them on other social networks. But the app takes a while to convert videos so you'll have to be patient. It would have been nice if the app had a section that would help users check out previews of overlays.
In addition, it would need a settings menu and a section for users to favorite overlays and access them easier. It seems that the app has some stability issues and it sometimes crashes when you try to change the overlay.
