Intuitive and stylish interface with plenty of features at hand
It's always nice to come across developers who took the time to create a tutorial for new users who aren't accustomed to the app's UI. Hotel Scan app doesn't come with any instructions, but it does sport an intuitive UI with lots of features at hand.
The app doesn't require users to register with an account, which is quite nice since it means that you can browse through offers freely without worrying about creating an account or signing in.
Browse through all sort of offers
The home screen gives you the option to search for a city, hotel or place, You can adjust the booking dates and then tap on find hotels to browse through offers. There's the option to sort them by price ascending or descending, popularity, rating or distance to city center.
Each offer comes with nice pictures that you can check out and the option to compare prices with those on the most popular hotel websites out there. It automatically finds the lowest price and lets you book a room, but it opens the website in your browser. You won't actually be able to book inside the app, but that also means that the app doesn't collect personal information from users.
More features and tools
You can check a map that displays hotels in the wanted area, so you can compare prices and see which ones would be more affordable. Users can read descriptions and check out reviews, to see if guests were satisfied with the services provided.
You can filter hotels amenities, prices distance to the city center or the type of lodging. The side menu gives you the option to change the language inside the app or the currency.
The app could use some more tools and options to make it more appealing to users. It also doesn't have the option to share offers or attach them to an email.
