Hexlock 1.4.2
Unfortunately, not all apps come with a locker option but there are applications that would restrict access to whichever app you want. One of them is Hexlock. It's an intuitive app that has all the tools that you need in order to restrict access to your most private apps.
Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial, only a few tips to get you started. However, the interface is quite intuitive and stylish, it uses transition effects when swiping the screen to change sections. It also has a settings menu with lots of changes that you can make to the app and its functions.
It doesn't have material design but you wouldn't really need it since it sports a rather intuitive interface with everything you need at hand. It could use some additional themes, but it's nice that it has a different background color for each section.
Lock access to private apps
Hexlock provides users with a number of profiles that they can use. It comes with two default profiles, work and home. It has the option to activate others like party, parental, school or cafe.
Each of these profiles has a different set of apps making it easy to restrict access to social networking apps when you're at work or to email apps when you're at home. There are some customization tools, like the option to change the icon for profile as well as the name.
More features
You can lock access to private apps using a PIN or a pattern. Simply select the app from the list provided and Hexlock also gives you access to various sorting options so that you can find apps easier.
In addition, there's a bar in the notification section showing users how many apps are currently locked. It comes with multiple settings under the menu, like the option to change the passcode, activate the uninstall prevention feature or notify users to lock new apps.
The auto-activate features automatically switches profiles when you change WiFi networks. This is especially useful since users wouldn't have to change profiles when they arrive at work or at home. The app comes with some banner ads which you can remove if you pay 1.39$.

Price8
It comes with some banner ads which you can remove if you pay 1.39$. |
