Bestie by Camera360 1.2.0
But before they do that, they like to edit them and add some filters. One of the apps that lets you do just that is Bestie by Camera360. It's a nice selfie app with some essential tools that you can use.
Sleek and fluent interface with lots of tools at hand
The app launches with a presentation, showing new users all the neat things that they can do using this app. It opens directly with the camera mode, a bar at the bottom of the screen provides users with access to some settings that they can adjust.
You can mute the camera, automatically save original pictures or enable the auto-mirror feature. It would have been nice if the app had a more detailed interface, with a side menu or material design.
Unfortunately, the app doesn't and the settings menu seems a bit hidden. It also needs the option for users to pick their own destination folder for edited pictures.
Snap selfies easily
The app opens with the camera mode for snapping pictures instantly, but that doesn't mean that users can't access their gallery and import images from there. It places your most recent pictures at the top of the screen, so you can check them out faster.
It comes with lots of filters that you can apply even in the camera mode. The overlays are really nice and unique, but they reduce the image quality of your pictures. Simply swipe the screen left or right to change filters or tap on the randomize icon.
More tools
The app has features that help smooth your skin, whiten your skin color, remove acne or slim down your figure. Unfortunately, they're only suitable for selfies so you can't use them for any other type of pictures.
You can have the app enlarge your eyes, remove eye bags or make your nose look smaller. However, we have come across other applications that have better similar tools.
Bestie automatically makes changes, it only lets you adjust the level of changes but you can't actually pick which part of your face you would like to slim. The nose reduction feature only applies an overlay that makes your nose look smaller but it doesn't actually reduce it in the picture. When you're done editing, you can save and share pictures online.
