Ace Launcher 1.0.8
They usually come with lots of customization options and tools to help make your phone stand out. One of such apps is Ace Launcher. It's a nice launcher with lots of themes that you can check out, in addition to the tools and features that it offers.
Sleek interface with lots of features at hand
Ace Launcher starts with a tutorial, showing new users all the neat things that they can find inside the app and tools that they may use in order to make your phone stand out. You'll find the settings menu under the overflow icon on the bottom of the screen.
The app doesn't import your icons and folders from the previous launcher that you were using, which is quite inconvenient. It does have such a feature but it doesn't seem to work. Still, you can sign in to Facebook and get notifications directly on the home screen.
Customize the launcher to your liking
The app lets you change the wallpaper and pick from one in your gallery or check out some of the options that it offers you. You can also enable wallpaper scrolling or pick one of the many themes that the app provides you with.
It has a section in which you can check out multiple themes and download the ones that you like, but it seems that it has a problem with connecting to the internet. The app comes with lots of screen transition effects, you can check out the previews and then apply the one that you like the most.
More features and tools
The app lets you adjust icon size, highlight color and folder preview. The drawer section has some settings that you may want to tweak, it lets you adjust grid size, show action bar, show app label, use animation or enable horizontal transition.
You can sort apps by various criteria like size, date and name. In addition, there's the option to hide apps or create folders to group them. The app lets you backup and restore settings, so that you could find them easily. It also lets you assign functions to various gestures made on the home screen.

The interface is really nice with lots of features at hand and themes that you can choose from, aside from screen transition effects. |
Function8
It works just fine but the app could use some more tools for arranging apps in the drawer and importing previous settings. |
Security3
It needs access to a lot of areas on your phone, which is quite inconvenient but it shouldn't really pose any privacy issues. |
Battery7
Consumption is moderate, the app doesn't take up more resources than Google launcher and it has some nice customization tools. |
Price8
It's free but it advertises all sort of applications created by the same developer. |
Compatibility8
The app should work on devices running Android version 2.2 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's a nice launcher but it needs some minor improvements.
