Great idea transformed into a highly-functional applications
US Newspapers app opens directly with the home screen, featuring top newspapers arranged alphabetically. It doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but since the interface is quite intuitive as it uses Material Design, you wouldn't really need them.
Although, the app is called US Newspapers you can get information from any country of the world. Simply pick one of the 186 countries available and get the latest headlines from top local newspapers. It even comes with some customization features. You can change the theme and font size easily from inside the app.
Read all sort of newspapers
The app gives you the option to search for newspapers by simply typing in the name or to enable location services and get suggestions. You can even add the ones that you like the most to the favorites section, to have quick access. It also lets you bookmark articles and read them later.
US Newspapers app displays the top headlines from a certain publication and it lets you share stories on social networks. You can also access articles in the external browser or watch videos if the newspaper's website has any.
Translate articles
The app also comes with a feature that instantly translates any article into English, which is quite useful if you're reading a story featured in a foreign newspaper. Users can disable hardware acceleration, if they encounter any problems while reading articles. There are also come changes that you can do to the app's browser, like change the text size or have it display images on web pages.
The nice thing about the app is that it also loads suggestions of other articles or the comments section if you need to post your opinion or see what the people are saying. Still, it would have been nice if it had a feature that would help you see what papers are writing about a certain topic.
