TickTick
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
It's always nice to come across applications that launch with a tutorial or some kind of instructions, as they may come in handy to new users. However, TickTick doesn't have any. It only launches with the home screen and a side menu, filled with some sections that you can access.
It doesn't have material design, but it does come with two themes to choose from. You can adjust font size and change the language of the app. The start of the week can also be changed and users can add a bar on the task list or one in the status bar so you could access the app even faster.
Create all sort of tasks
It has shortcuts for creating tasks for the current or the following day. You can also pick whichever date you would like and add a priority. It comes with a checklist, so you can cross out tasks that you've completed. Add attachments to your tasks, like images and documents.
Access the camera or record audio to add to your task. Users can add comments or their location. TickTick can provide you with a reminder whenever you leave or arrive to a certain location. The app lets you create all sort of lists and add your tasks to them. Tasks can be shared online with friends on other social networks.
Sync your tasks online
Register with your Google+, Twitter or Facebook accounts to get free cloud storage for synching your tasks online and accessing the information from multiple devices. You can also manage reminders and set the time for the daily alerts. In order to protect your tasks from prying eyes, you can add a pattern lock on your phone.
It would have been nice if the app has more customization features like the option to change the color of tasks based on their importance. The app definitely needs more features but it's still worth a try.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface definitely needs some more customization features, like the option to group tasks and color them differently. |
Function8
It has some nice features like cloud sync, but it could use some more tools like the option to add time stamps on your to-do lists. |
Security6
It seems to be a bit intrusive but it does provide users with the option to lock their tasks using a pattern. |
Battery7
Consumption is normal, but users should still keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price9
No ads but it comes with in-app purchases, unlock features like list sharing and the option to track revision history by paying 1.79$ per month or 16.19$ per year. |
Compatibility7
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this app but it does work on Android Wear as well. |
It needs some minor improvements, but it's a nice app.
