Smart Optimization Box 2.3.1
There are optimizers that can help extend your battery life and kill apps that run in the background, one of them is Smart Optimization Box. It has a nice design and all the features that you might need in order to better manage resources on your phone.
Intuitive but ill-fitted interface
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to help new users get an idea of what the app can do and how they can optimizer their phones or tablets. It launches directly with the home page, the app doesn't use material design but it does have a decent UI, although it could use an upgrade.
It also lacks a menu with settings and all sections are arranged into rows on the home screen. It could clearly use multiple languages and some general settings for the whole app.
Optimize your phone easily
The app takes a while to scan your device and optimize it. It displays the total amount of used CPU and storage space, both on your system and the SD card. You can also check RAM and ROM levels.
You can use the app to kill applications that run in the background, it displays how much memory each app takes up and lets you terminate them easily. Be patient while it scans your phone for cache data that could be erased and tells you which app stores the most unnecessary files. You can also enable auto delete and have the app remove cache every couple of hours.
More features
The app can be used for managing your battery, it has multiple modes that can be enabled and adjusted. You can enable a mode and have the app automatically turn off WiFi, Bluetooth, backlight, synchronization and reduce volume.
It displays the amount of battery you have left, together with the running time. It also shows you the battery temperatures, voltage and state. Moreover, you can use Smart Optimization Box in order to uninstall certain applications, clear your call and text history, move apps to SD card and more. You can also adjust volume and screen brightness directly from within the app.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface could use an upgrade, since it has a boring UI with absolutely no visual effects or animation. |
Function8
It works just fine, although it's missing some of the features that other optimizers have like a widget for the home screen. |
Security6
It needs a lot of permissions from your phone, some to areas that aren't related to its features. |
Battery2
Paradoxically, the app consumes a lot of battery and it might even drain your resources. |
Price6
It's filled with banner ads that take up quite a lot of resources and there's no option of removing them. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's not the most efficient optimizer out there, we've come across better ones.
