Stylish launcher with many tools
The great thing about Smart Launcher is that you have to customize the app only during the first use. The launcher requires you to choose a default music player, browser, camera and gallery viewer after which it proceeds to rearranging your home screen.
It comes with plenty of instructions to make the launcher feel familiar even during the first few minutes. The app also comes with a pack of six animations to choose from and it gives you the option of rearranging icons in folders.
All of your apps rearranged into multiple sections
The app does a good job at organizing your apps into 6 categories in the drawer, communication with all the apps you use to make calls or receive texts, internet, games, media, utility and settings. You get the option to add categories if you upgrade for 3.78$.
The premium version also unlocks plenty of other features for your launcher, including a second screen for widgets and more gestures. Smart Launcher comes with the option of showing the category list on the right of the screen, for left-handed users.
In addition, you can change clock format or choose to hide the status bar. Here's only one installed theme to choose from, but you can download more free or paid themes from the store. Also, the launcher comes with the option of switching between different drawer transitions.
Backup settings and install various plugins
On the home screen, the launcher displays 'bubbles' with quick access to apps that you use the most. Tap on the phone icon and it opens your agenda, enabling you to make calls.
You can add as many icons as you wish, as they are arranged into a neat circle. Back up settings to your SD card or choose one of the many plugins for notifications or for securing hidden apps with a password.
