Simple Unit Converter 2.050
Simple Unit Converter is an easy-to-use converter that incorporates almost all major units of measurement for various quantities. It comes with a settings menu and although it doesn't have material design, it sports a really intuitive UI.
Easy-to-use interface with plenty of features at hand
We've come across many applications that sport a very complicated interface with lots of features, but don't have a tutorial which is quite inconvenient. Simple Unit Converter doesn't have one either, but it comes with a really simplistic and easy-to-use interface. It doesn't have material design, but you wouldn't really need it since it has all sort of nice features on the screen.
The home screen displays all sections in thumbnails with nice icons to make it faster to use the app. Access settings by tapping on the overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen.
Make some adjustments to the app
You can enable the classic calculator layout for the numpad or the phonepad. Users can also adjust the number of decimal places after the decimal mark, up to 6 are available. It can provide users with hints for when they make calculations or have the app vibrate your phone upon keypad touch.
Use the app to convert various units like, length, volume, weight, speed, consumption, currency, temperature, area, bits & bytes, power, pressure and more. It has lots of conversions that you can do to time, torque, force, flow, etc.
Convert everything
The UI is quite intuitive, simply pick the first unit and then the second one by choosing from a long list of available options, depending on what type of conversion you would like to make. It doesn't come with complicated settings or tools, as to make it easy to use by both adults and children.
The app could be extremely beneficial for children in school and for adults who simply want to make fast conversions. It's not complicated at all, but it would have been nice if it had some more customization features, like the option to create a separate section with conversions that you make the most.
This would allow users to access features faster. In addition, it would be useful if the app remembered some conversions and let you export them in an email.
