Send Anywhere 5.9.18
It helps you transfer files between multiple devices, using your WiFi connection and not uploading them to a cloud account. This ensures that your files are protected and no one else can see them. It works just fine, but it does depending on the speed of your internet connection.
Sleek design with plenty of features
The app launches directly with a tutorial, showing new users how to create their account, pair devices and start transferring files. It sports an intuitive design, with a side menu and lots of features to help you send files anywhere.
Users must create an account and login with your devices to send files. Documents are transferred via your WiFi network and not the cloud, so they would be better protected.
The setup for the Android app doesn't take long, but in order to send files you'll need the other device to also have Send Anywhere (File Transfer) installed. The installation process on Windows takes quite a while and you'll need to connect the two devices using the same password and username.
Transfer files easily
The whole app is designed to help users transfer files without too much fuss. Sending files is easy, simply tap on the send icon and select the file that you wish to transfer. They're all divided into categories, like photos, text, audio, video, contacts, apps and random files or folders.
Batch selection is available, so you can send multiple documents easily. Change the receive path so you can find transferred files on your device. To make sure that you're not sending files to another paired device, the app lets you name devices and type in a code from the sender. You can send any type of file, of any size, as many times as you want. There are no limits on how much you can send and it is totally free.
Some settings
You can also have it duplicate files and keep the originals of transferred ones. One folder is shares, which means that you can access it from whichever device you wish. The app also lets you view the activity log and see which transfer failed.
It doesn't take long to send files, but that also depends on your internet connection. It supports Android, Non-Android mobile OS, all PC platforms, Chrome Extension, and a web browser, Firefox.
