You can also keep files that you're not sure if you wish to delete. Fortunately, Google Play Store has some applications that could do just that. One of them is Recycle Bin. It's a nice app that has all the features that you might find in a desktop Recycle Bin.
Sleek UI with some features
The app displays some instructions when you launch it, although it would have been more useful if it came with a tutorial and onscreen tips. Still, the UI is really intuitive even if it doesn't come with material design.
You'll find settings under the overflow icon on the top of the screen, however the app doesn't come with any customization features. The icon resembles that of Windows' Recycle Bin, but the app has fewer features.
Send files to the recycle bin
In order to send files to the recycle bin you only need to select the file in your preferred file explorer, then select Recycle bin in the 'Open with' or 'Send to' menus. The selected file will be deleted from your original location.
The application can partially monitor your sdcard in order to automatically send files to the recycle bin when you delete one. The functionality can be enabled or disabled from the application's settings page. The maximum number of files that are watchable depends on the system that you're currently using.
More features
Aside from all this, the app also lets you automatically hand known files. You can also have the app monitor folders on your device or manage file extensions of files that can be sent to the Recycle Bin.
You can send all sort of files, including pictures, audio and video files, documents and compressed files. APKs and .exe application files can also be send to the recycle bin. It comes with some sorting options and files can be automatically purged after a certain period of time.
You can also backup data and settings, but only after you upgrade to the premium version for 1.39$. The app seems to have some stability issues. The restore or delete icons are hidden, which makes it difficult for users to perform operations with this app.
