Pitu 3.0.0.330
Sleek and intuitive interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to show new users how to navigate inside it and to access all of its features. Still, it launches directly with the home menu, featuring thumbnails for all of its sections.
The UI is quite intuitive, resembling that of any other photo editor. The interface might seem a bit kitschy considering its bright colors, but the app focuses more on providing users with complex features than on the design of the interface.
It has a settings section, which is nice considering that some editors don't have such a section. Still, you can adjust the quality of images or select the storage path for pictures taken with this app.
Snap and edit pictures easily
Pitu editor comes with a camera mode that lets you apply filters directly to the screen and use the beautification feature before taking the photo. You can also use the flash and the app comes with a timer.
Use the app to retouch your photos, to automatically beautify your selfies, apply filters, whiten your skin or remove acne and spots. You can also enlarge eyes or remove dark-cicles. It comes with a slimming feature, but it's only available if you share the app with your friends on social networks.
Create nice collages with this application
Pitu app can also be used to create really nice collages, the app is filled with all sort of templates that help you turn your pictures into magazine covers, postcards or other amazing things.
You can also pick from multiple grids for your photos. Other than that, the app comes multiple materials that you can use in order to enhance your pictures. You can add frames, text bubbles or cutouts. In addition, the app can be used to add make-up or turn your selfies into cosplays.
Although, some of the pictures might seem a bit creepy since the visuals aren't that great. All in all, the app is definitely worth a try for editing selfies but not necessarily for creating cosplays.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is okay, although the bright colors might seem a bit kitschy and the app still has some sections that aren't translated into English. |
Function7
It works just fine but it comes with some dated visuals and useless tools like the ones for cosplay. |
Security6
It needs lots of permissions from your phone, but it shouldn't really pose any privacy issues. |
Battery6
Consumption is a bit high, so keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price7
It doesn't come with in-app purchases but it does have some annoying ads which can't be removed. Also, you need to share the app in order to get access some sections. |
Compatibility8
It needs devices running Android version 4.0 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's worth a try but it's not among the best photo editors that we've tested so far.
