Photo editor by ANDROID PIXELS 1.22
You can find all sort of editors, ranging from really complex ones with unique features and filters, to some more simplistic apps that only offer some basic features. Photo editor by ANDROID PIXELS is a nice editor but it fails to stand out in the crowd of photo editing apps.
Dated UI that could use an upgrade
Some photo editors come with a tutorial, offering a short presentation of the app and all of its features. Unfortunately, Photo editor doesn't have any instructions which is quite inconvenient. Still, the app doesn't need online registration and it has a toolbar on the bottom of the screen.
It doesn't use material design, but it makes it easy to access features. However, it's missing a settings menu, which means that users can't pick the destination folder or make adjustments to the quality and resolution of pictures.
Edit pictures
Photo editor uses the popular editor by Aviary, which is highly functional but it doesn't come with any unique filters or effects. However, it has lots of features and you can actually edit photos professionally using this app. It has an enhance feature with tool for fixing colors and illuminating pictures.
It also comes with lots of light effects that you can apply on images, together with frames or overlays. Stickers can also be applied on pictures, but you'll need to download them separately. In addition, you can add vignettes on photos or swipe the screen right to undo changes.
More editing tools
Crop pictures to the size that you wish, the focus, orientation and lighting of pictures. Color changes are also available, adjust saturation, warmth, tint and fade. Color sharpness can also be adjusted, together with splash and the app lets you draw on pictures easily.
Text can be adjusted, together with removal of redeye and blemish. It has blur effects and many other features. Unfortunately, many of the nice features inside this app like filters and effects, need to be downloaded and the app only has a pack with a few items.
Still, when you're done editing you can share the pictures with friends on social networks. The image quality is lower than that of the original pictures and there's no option to change that.
