Photo Comics Free 3.800.PCG
Photo Comics Free is not a photography app in the true meaning of the word, but actually an app that lets you add funny and somewhat creepy stickers to your pictures, making them resemble classical comics.
Intuitive design with some features
The first thing you'll notice about the app after you launch it is that it has an intuitive but a bit dated design. The home page is clogged with all sorts of sections and shortcuts to features and tools.
The app comes with some instructions or any tips, but it lets new users discover and navigate inside the app for themselves. You can access pictures directly from the home page or tap on the camera link to snap one. Users have the option of connecting with the developers on Facebook or recommending the app to their friends.
Turn your pictures into comics
Simply import images from your gallery to transform into comics. The app doesn't come with any picture editing tools, only stickers that you can add to images. The list of available stickers is really long and it comes with all sorts of stickers that really resemble those that you may find in classical comics, including fists, one with superman and thunders.
The stickers come in vivid colors and you can add more than one per image. Users have the option of merging stickers or replacing the one's they've already places on images. Pinch the screen to zoom in or out on stickers and drag and drop to move them on pictures.
Unlock more stickers
You also have the option of using the eraser to remove stickers from the image or to flip them on the screen. Tap on save for the app to save your image in a separate folder in your gallery or share it with friends on social networks. Some of the stickers are a bit creepy, but most of them are funny.
Still, if you want more options you can always upgrade to the premium version for 1.9$. The pro version is also free of ads. Also, the app has links to a store with T-shirts and merchandise featuring similar stickers. Considering that the app transforms your pictures into comics, it's unsure why developers didn't implement the option of adding dialog boxes with text on images.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The app sports an intuitive interface but the home page seems a bit clogged with too many useless sections. |
Function7
It's nice but it definitely needs more features, like the option of adding dialog boxes with text. |
Security8
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues although it's unsure why the app needs access to your location services, since neither of its features are connected to it. |
Battery8
Consumption isn't that high, so you shouldn't worry about this app draining your resources. |
Price8
It comes with banner ads and some stickers are locked in the premium version. Remove ads and get access to them by paying 1.9$. |
Compatibility9
It should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.1 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
A nice and fun app, but it could surely use some more features.
