Mind Games 2.0.7
Brain training apps are a good example of such tools. Mind Games is a nice and easy-to-use application that does just that, it helps improve your memory with fun and entertaining games that you can play daily.
Sleek and easy-to-use interface
The app launches with the option of picking the default language, a feature that not many brain training applications have. You can pick from English, Portuguese, Spanish, French or German. When you're done with that, you can create a profile and provide your age.
Afterward, you can proceed to make some changes to the app's interface. You can turn off sounds, change your username, age and language. There's also the option of backing up your scores so that you can check your progress inside the app.
Train your brain
The app lacks a tutorial that would provide an overview of all the fun games that you can play and show users the way in which Mind Games calculates your scores. Explore the app and start playing games by heading to the training center.
Games are aimed at developing various skills, including attention, focus and speed with mathematics exercise, visual memory, verbal memory, verbal conceptual skills and sequential learning. In total, it contains almost 3 dozen games which you can access at any time.
Schedule games and improve your skills
Each game comes with plenty of instructions to get you started and make sure you understand all requirements before you begin. The app calculates your standard score and percent accuracy for games, providing you with a score compared to other users in the same age range on the first three times they played the game.
It also provides you with a battery meter showing you improvements over time, as well as how you rank compared to other players. The games are quite entertaining but we recommend you turn off the sound as it can get annoying in certain games.
Certain games come in trial version in the free app, you can play them for three times and afterward you'll need to upgrade. The premium version comes without ads and provides access to many more games, but it costs 6.19$.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface could really use an upgrade as it has some dated characteristics and certain images come in low quality. |
Function9
The games aren't as fun or colorful as in other brain training apps, but they seem to be just as useful if not more. |
Security9
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues as it only needs access to a few areas of your phone that are connected to its features. |
Battery6
Consumption is quite high, make sure to keep your phone plugged in when playing your daily games. |
Price7
Such apps aren't free but this one also comes with banner and popup ads, remove them and upgrade to premium for 6.19$. A bit pricey if you ask us. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's a nice app but it needs some more improvements.
