Make My Day 1.1.0.3v1
Make My Day is one of those apps, it lets you plan ahead and select the landmarks that you'd like to visit. The app is quite limited since it was just recently released, but it's definitely a good idea and well worth a try.
Beautiful interface with plenty of features
It launches with a tutorial showing new users all the neat things that they could do using the app and all tools that they could access easily. You don't need to register with an account that is quite nice, but you can save landmarks that you wish to visit under your account.
It doesn't really come with a settings menu, but you can explore additional information about the app or review the tutorial in case you might have missed something.
Plan your day
The first thing that you need to do inside the app is to pick one of the six cities available. Hopefully, developers will add more destinations to Make My Day app, but for now you can only pick from Barcelona, London, New York City, Paris, San Francisco or Tokyo.
Afterward, you can explore all the landmarks as they're divided by time of day, morning, afternoon and evening. The app displays a short description of the place, together with tips, details and phone numbers. You'll get links to official websites and suggestions of the best places to eat nearby. There's also a map of the location.
More features and some shortcomings
Simply pick one landmark for each time of day and save your selection inside the app. You can plan as many days as you wish, but information on certain landmarks is locked.
You can get access to one city for 2.9$ or to all for 4.69$. Once you're done, you can explore your itinerary on a map and see if they're in the vicinity of one another.
The app can't be used for booking hotel rooms or flight tickets, it simply gives you an idea of what you could find in major cities around the world. It works offline, so you can check the map even when you don't have internet connection.

Bottom Line
Design / UI10
The interface is really nice, with gorgeous photos of landmarks and a beautiful UI that makes it easy to navigate and explore destinations. |
Function5
It's a nice app, but considering the low number of cities and landmarks, it's not that useful when exploring new destinations. |
Security8
It needs some permissions from your phone, so it really shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery4
Consumption is quite high so keep an eye on resources when using this app as it may drain your battery. |
Price8
It doesn't come with ads, but only three landmarks per category are free, get access to all cities by paying 4.69$. |
Compatibility7
It should work on devices running Android version 4.0.3 or later, making it inaccessible to some users. |
It's a cute app, but limited and with very few cities to explore.
