Watch all your favorite MTV shows, but only if you subscribe

Aside from all the MTV services available out there, the famous television station also launched its own Android app. Watch shows, listen to top songs and check out all the novelties from the MTV world, but keep in mind that the app comes with plenty of shortcomings.

Stylish and appealing UI

As you'd expect, the interface is stylish colors and a menu with all its features and sections on the left side of the screen. There's a whole section with instructions on how to use the app and frequently asked questions.

MTV Play doesn't come with any customization options or layout settings. Still, you can choose the app to only play videos through WiFi connection so you'd save precious mobile data.

Watch free episodes of your favorite shows

The app comes with many sections to choose from, it opens with a list of recently aired episodes of top shows, divided by categories. All shows open with a description and a list of seasons and episodes.

Simply tap on the video to play, you can enable full screen or fast forward in the video. However, you can't adjust image-quality to save battery or enhance your experience. There's also a section where you can search for shows, but that doesn't seem to work in this app.

Upgrade to get access to all shows

You can use MTV Play app to check music charts and listen to songs, but the feature doesn't work on smartphones and you are forced to connect to a computer to play a song. In addition, the top 100 music chart needs to be updated.

MTV only gives free access to a certain number of free episodes and shows. For the rest and ads removed, you must upgrade to a premium account for 3.21$ per month or 32.29$ per year. You also have the option of using MTV mobile.

There's also MTV mobile service that you can use.	Compatibility7 Devices running Android version 4.1 or later shouldn't have any issues with this app.
