There are many launcher apps on Google Play Store and they're all differentiated by the design they sport. WP Launcher, formerly known as Launcher 8, copies the design of Windows 8, providing functionality and helping you organize your apps and icons on an Android phone.
Sleek interface that resembles that of Windows 8
Some launchers come with unique designs, elegant or futuristic while others copy the launcher themes of other operating systems. WP Launcher belongs to the latter category of apps, with sections arranged into thumbnails, that makes it obsolete to use wallpapers.
It only comes with one screen, so if you wish to see more options, you'll need to scroll down instead of swipe, as you've gotten used to. But if you're not familiar with Windows 8 design, don't worry the app also comes with tips and instructions of use to get you started.
Highly customizable launcher for your phone
Customization is a very important aspect of any launcher apps, since they're meant to improve the appearance of your phone and also make it easier to work on it. Swipe right to find the drawer with all the applications installed on the device and arranged alphabetically so you can find them easier.
Type in the name of the app in the search bar and access settings to change the appearance of the launcher or rearrange tiles. It comes with multiple color themes and the option of creating a custom color for the launcher. You can adjust the transparency of tiles, text and even foreground. It also has a weather tile and wallpaper.

Tile padding can also be changed and more themes are available online. You can set the app to display 4 or 6 tiles per column and select from one of the background colors available. Animation is also available for dragging tiles, screen borders and more.
Screen orientation can be changed and the app comes in multiple languages to choose from. Once you're done editing, make sure to save the theme. Long press on a tile in the home screen to find shortcuts to settings. In addition, you can customize tiles by simply long pressing and rearranging them on the home screen.
