Crowdfunding has started to gain popularity on the internet, many people take to funding platforms to find money for support in various causes and endeavors.

Indiegogo is one of those popular platforms that sports a clean interface and plenty of features for checking out products, projects and why not noble causes, letting users make donations to people who really need some support.

Clean and sleek interface

Indiegogo hit the mark when it came to UI. It manages to sport a clean interface, unclogged with too many features and without nagging ads or messages. While it doesn't come with instructions or a tutorial, you won't have any trouble navigating in the app, considering that it sports a rather intuitive layout with a side menu on the left and search bar on top.

Register with an account or your Facebook profile, in order to properly use the app. However, it seems to have some trouble with Facebook registration, claiming your email address isn't available.

Check out campaigns

The home section is filled with the most popular campaigns, mentioning the targeted amount and the sum users have managed to raise until now. It also includes a graph and description of the project. Contribute to projects and you'll get various perks and free things from users, but only after the campaign ends and they cash in the amount.

There's also a comments section, where you can write down your thoughts on the matter. The team members section includes a list of all people who are managing the project. Users also have the option of sharing campaigns and inviting friends to contribute. The app saves your place after you've viewed multiple campaigns.

Contribute to causes

The explore section comes with categories of causes, mainly trending, new, ending soon and most funded campaigns. Users can follow various categories, to make sure they receive feeds only with topics that they're interested in.

The app includes a long list of categories, including animals, health and environment. It's quite easy to contribute, all you need to do is choose a perk and make a payment with a credit card.

You can hide your name from the list of contributors and go anonymous. In addition to that, users can save campaigns and causes in order to make payments later and make them easy to access. Users can also launch campaigns of their own, you will get notifications when you receive a new contribution, comment and hit your funding goal.
