It's a clever app that lets you create commands for your phone and link applications or functions. It's really easy to use, filled with tips and many preset connections and you simply have to enable on your device.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app launches directly with a tutorial showing new users how to access it and get all the nice features inside. The app really explains users how it works and what they must do in order to create connections on their phones.
Unfortunately, it needs all users to register with an account and doesn't let you connect profiles on social networks, but rather use an email address. Afterward, you can enable whichever command you wish or see the ones that are automatically turned on when you launch the app.
Browse through recipes
All connections are called recipes and the home page is filled with the recipes you've created and channels you've activated, together with the time and date. In addition, you can browse through recipes, the app has an extensive gallery filled with all sort of commands.
They're arranged into various categories, including those with system functions, recipes for online shoppers, social media, video lovers, small business owners, athletes, etc.
You can see how many people have installed them on their devices and how many likes they've gotten. Depending on the recipe, you might need to install some additional apps or activate some features on your phone.
Various recipes to choose from
You can manage recipes that you've enabled simply by swiping the screen left and disabling them if you don't like them anymore. You can have your phone to set the NASA photo of the day or notify you when you disconnect from a WiFi network.
It can be set to give you a notification if it rains tomorrow or change your Twitter profile picture each time you change it on Facebook. It may also save your favorite tweets in Pocket. IF by IFTTT has numerous functions and advantages, it can be used to enable any feature on your phone if basic conditions are met. It's truly a very ingenious app.
