Simplistic interface with a highly comprehensive layout
The UI sports the same-old layout with a side menu and toolbar for quick access to features. But it's not necessarily a bad thing considering that it would make it easier for new users to get accustomed to the app. However, it doesn't add points to the design.
You'll need to register with an account in order to use the app. There's the option of using your Facebook profile or email address, but it seems that the app has trouble logging in using your profile on the most popular social network out there. Once you've signed in, you can provide information on your gender or date of birth, but that's not mandatory and you can leave the space blank.
Browse through various funny pictures
Content is divided into several categories, including funny signs, animals, people and pictures. You'll also find gifs and short videos to enjoy, while all content is filtered and safe for work. The toolbar offers access to the login page and a refresh icon.
Tap on a picture or icon to open and be patient, as the app takes a bit to do so. You can save content to your device, share with friends on social networks or add to browse history and rewatch it whenever you wish. There's also the option of favoriting it and the app comes with a comment section and emojis to use. Swipe left to see the next picture or video.
Create your own gifs and memes to add to the app
Funpica incorporates funny content and allows users to add their own pictures, memes or gifs, to contribute to the app and help enlarge the network of users, in order to make the community more popular.
An icon on the toolbar will get you in the photo editor and provide you with the option of creating memes, captions or gifs. Choose from the long list of suggestions and add text. The application comes with banner and full screen ads, which will surely seem annoying especially since there's no option of removing them.
