But sometimes you need to relax and watch some funny videos with sketches and famous actors. Funny or Die is known for providing extremely funny content and the website launched an Android app so you can watch funny videos wherever you are.
Sleek design with some features
The app doesn't come with instructions or a tutorial to show new users how to navigate inside and access all of its features. It also doesn't have a settings menu so you can't make any changes to the UI or enable certain features.
The interface is quite simplistic as it opens directly with the home page featuring videos. The app doesn't really resemble the website, as it has fewer features and tools. It also doesn't let users sign in to their account which is quite inconvenient.
Browse through all sort of videos
The app displays videos into three categories, like featured, popular or exclusive clips. It doesn't have the same sections that the website has, meaning you can't browse by celebrities that appear on the network. The app only features videos, so you won't get access to news, images, articles or music.
It does keep its main function, meaning it lets users rate videos by 'funny' or 'die', deciding which ones become popular on the network and subsequently on the internet. It also displays the number of views a clip has and provides you with a short description at the beginning of each one.
Watch funny videos
It mentions the date they were added and all clips come in HD quality. You can check out related videos by tapping on the next tab or share videos on social networks so that your friends can get a laugh too. The app features a search bar that lets you find certain clips easily by simply typing in key words.
It also works in landscape mode, which is the only mode in which you can skip to the end of the video. All in all the app is quite nice if you like the Funny or Die humor, but it would be nice if developers would have included all of the other website sections into this app.
