Food Network In the Kitchen 4.5.2

Check out the top recipes from chefs on the Food Network
It doesn't matter whether you're a certified chef or only eat fast-food all day, you've definitely watched at least one show on the Food Network and felt inspired to get in the kitchen and start cooking. Well, the Food Network app provides you with all the necessary inspiration and tools to start cooking, all you need now is some ingredients.

Intuitive UI that takes some time load

Unfortunately, the app takes a while to load, but sports some cute animation while doing so. It opens with sections for each celebrity chef on the network, together with another page with recipes for upcoming holidays and topics for categorizing meals.

There's a search bar with auto-fill suggestions, an icon for adding recipes to your box and the menu with plenty of tools. The interface is pretty intuitive and doesn't need any further instructions of use. Recipes can be shared with friends on social networks.

Browse through various recipes

It's extremely easy to find what you're looking for on the Food Network app. The topics section has various recipes arranged into categories, including vegan and seafood, sandwiches or quick and easy meals. Tap on one and it will open a long list of recipes for you to choose from.

The chefs section is arranged in the same way, but also displays a short description together with some of their most popular dishes and explanatory videos on how to make them.

Each recipe has a credits section, mentions the time needed for preparing and cooking it, the level of difficulty, the amount of servings and the ingredients, of course.

Make notes, save recipes and create

grocery list

All recipes come with clear instructions as well as reviews written by other users. You can vote and add your own review or make notes only for you to see. The app also comes with a recipe box, where you can save your favorite dishes and a section where you can create a grocery list.

There's the option of adjusting font size, in case your cooking and don't wish to pick up your phone to read better. You can use the unit converter from the app to adjust the quantity of ingredients or the timer.
