FlashFox 40.0.4
Although the name is rather generic the browser has everything you need for searching the internet fast and easily. However, it's missing some essential features that other applications have.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The browser launches with a couple of tips, telling new users how to access all the features inside the app and make the most out of it. Still, it could use a tutorial to show users exactly how the app works. You can sign in with an account or simply start browsing.
The interface is really intuitive, with a layout that kind of resembles that of Chrome. It has a menu with all sort of options on the top right corner of the screen, together with the option of opening multiple tabs. The app lets you make some customization to your homepage and tabs, however it doesn't have any additional themes.
Browse the internet easily
The app lets you open multiple webpages by using tabs and managing them easily inside the menu, but you will have to be patient until it loads thumbnail pictures.
It comes with an incognito mode, letting users browse the internet anonymously and without the app recording their history and cookies. In addition, you can bookmark pages, share them online or find words in pages.
Users also have the option to save pages as PDF and it lets you manage addons. Although the app claims to play flash flawlessly, it seems that it even crashes when trying to play Youtube videos. In addition, it doesn't open up the last pages that you've visited upon startup.
Other features
The browser does come with some other features, like the option to sync your tabs, bookmarks, passwords and history, but you'll have to sign in to your Firefox account for that. In addition, you can adjust the size of the text, title bar and manage character encoding.
Moreover, the app has some privacy features that you could enjoy, like the option to lock your browser with a master password and have it remember all of your passwords for various websites and accounts. Other than that, users may import bookmarks and history from the native Android browser, Chrome.
