Filter Collage 1.0.18_20150917
However, because photo editors are so numerous, it's quite difficult to find one that has just the right amount of features so that it wouldn't take long to creating amazing pictures. Filter Collage is one of those apps. It's filled with all sort of nice filters and the option to apply multiple ones on the same picture.
Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
Filter Collage doesn't launch with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since it's nice to see app presentations with all of their features. Still, this app sports a quite intuitive interface that makes it easy to edit pictures using multiple filters.
It launches directly with the home screen, featuring some settings and an icon for importing pictures. The app doesn't come with material design so it doesn't have a side menu with access to all of its sections. The settings menu doesn't provide you with many options, only that of removing the watermark.
Edit your pictures easily
The app only lets you import images but not access the camera to snap new ones, which is one of the most basic features for any photo editor. Still, one you've imported a picture, Filter Collage lets you crop it into multiple sizes or keep it's original size. However, you can only pick one aspect ratio.
Once you're done with that, you can start applying filters and editing your pictures. The app lets you add all sort of effects to your pictures, light grids that let you apply multiple filters on images and edit them in whichever way you wish.
More editing features
Other than applying effects, the app lets you change filters and pick from a whole array of available options. You can also apply all sort of shapes and even text to your pictures, but you can't input your own text and change the font style, color or size. Still, you can adjust the transparency of filters, contrast, brightness and saturation.
It also comes with a shuffle button that lets you explore all sort of combinations with the touch of one button. When you're done simply save and share your picture with friends on social networks. However, it doesn't let you pick the image resolution, file format or at least the destination folder.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is really nice, but it could have used a tutorial and some settings under the menu. |
Function7
It works just fine, but it doesn't let users pick the image resolution, file format or at least the destination folder and you can't access the camera from within the app. |
Security5
It's quite an intrusive app, it needs access to many areas of your phone that aren't connected to its features, like location services and accounts. |
Battery3
Consumption is high, keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price9
No in-app purchases, but the app advertises all sort of applications created by the same developer. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.2 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It's a nice photo editor but it does need some improvements.
