An optimizer app is a must-have for anyone with a smartphone, as it can help clean memory and provide plenty of features useful for your device. LEO Privacy Guard is one of those optimizers, but it's quite limited compared to the leaders in this category.

Sleek and stylish interface

When you think of an optimizer app, you think of easy-to-use interfaces with large icons and even animation. While LEO Privacy Guard offers just that, it does need some more work on the main page as it doesn't provide you with any animation or visual effects.

It doesn't have a tutorial but comes with tips and instructions on how each section works. LEO Privacy Guard displays the number of applications installed on the device, together with the amount of memory and traffic used. Shortcuts for sections are featured on the bottom of the screen. The interface itself doesn't come with settings, but changes can be made to each section of the app.

Lock apps and photos inside the app

The app locker feature lets you set passwords to protect your apps inside LEO Privacy Guard. It's highly recommended that you also set a security question and answer in case you forget pincodes and won't be able to unlock them.

LEO Privacy Guard scans all applications installed on your device and displays them by name or time when they were installed. It also features the most used apps on top. You have the option of locking apps after screen off, be reminded of locking new apps or set your own auto-lock settings. You can automatically lock or unlock by desired time & location,and easy switch between multiple mode options.

In addition to that, you have the option of locking pictures inside the app, so anyone who would like access to them, must provide the pincode. Users may enter a wrong password five times. Moreover, you have the option of hiding your personal videos.

Backup applications and boost your phone's performance

The app lets you backup apps to your SD card, as well as restore them to their original directory. However, keep in mind that some applications might not work properly if they're moved to a SD card. Apps can also be uninstalled.

The boost feature uses animation and closes apps running in the background in order to release memory and make your phone work faster and perform better. The app comes with one default theme, more can be downloaded from the online store but it has trouble connecting to the internet even though the network is just fine. It doesn't come with much needed widgets and doesn't post notifications for when memory is running low.
