Advanced Battery Calibrator 2.31
Apparently, Android OS has problems with the reported maximum battery capacity, which is used by the operating system to know when the battery is fully charged.
That's why the phone may display a fully charged battery, but it really isn't and you may be left without resources in no time. Advanced Battery calibrator tries to fix this problems and make Android OS see your real battery capacity allowing it to be charged to its real full capacity.
Calibrate your battery and fix some of its issues
The app works great with its sister application Battery Life Repair and it was designed to take full advantage of it by sharing information between both applications.
Namely, Battery Life Repair tells Advanced Battery Calibrator which cells of your battery don't function properly letting the app fix any problems it may encounter.
It can be used on a full range of devices, not just rooted ones. However, you may notice that the app is filled with banner ads and it even forces you to download additional free applications in order to use it.
Follow the steps towards full calibration
The calibrator aims at cleaning your corrupted battery stats and make your battery charge to its full capacity again, but for that you'll need to follow a few easy steps. The app scans your battery and device and when that process finishes, you'll need to shut down the phone, charge battery to 100% and switch it back again.
The app identifies the maker and model of your phone, and attempts to get root privileges. It then process to calibrating your phone and when the process ends you will be advised to shut the device down.
While it seems to work and do its job, one must keep in mind that such applications can't perform miracles and you'll need to use it for an extensive period of time to make sure it works on your device.

Only extensive testing can prove if the app works on your device, but it does seem to have helped a number of users extend battery life. |
Security8
Few permissions and the app does require root privileges to your phone, but it shouldn't pose any issues. |
Battery9
Consumption is minimal, considering that it only takes minutes to perform the calibration. |
Price7
The app comes with banner ads and requires users to download a free app for it to complete the calibration process. |
Compatibility8
It can be used on devices running Android version 2.3.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It seems to work, but that also depends on the specs of your device.
